In 2020, through Heart to Heart Ministries, I began meeting with individuals and sharing the truths from Scripture regarding Who is God, Who does God say I am in Christ, and finding freedom in Christ. It has been an honor to serve Christ through Heart to Heart Ministries and continue my own journey of growth.

My Story
I grew up in a Christian home, and church has always been a part of my life, for which I am very grateful. When I was 12 years old, I was memorizing Scripture by the encouragement of my two maternal uncles. They provided me with the Navigators Growing in Christ Scripture memory series. Galatians 2:20 was the key verse that confirmed my need for a Savior -and Jesus is the Savior who gave His life for me. "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." Jesus lives in me, and because of this, I can walk in victory and freedom.
My journey of growth has included the need for conviction that God is not loving me based on my performance or how well I follow a list of do's and don'ts. I lived a good portion of my life focused on trying harder or doing better. Romans 2:4-5 is another key verse that showed me it's not based on my performance but God's love and mercy. "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)."
In 2019-2020, God gave me the opportunity to do an Internship with Infusion Ministry. During that time, I was reminded of the story of Harriett Tubman, a slave who escaped to freedom and celebrated her freedom. Yet she was not content knowing that she knew a way for others to escape slavery but was not sharing it with them. She could show them and lead them to freedom as well. My heart was convicted. Through this story I felt God was calling me to not just be content in the freedom I had found in Christ, but to go back, get others and show them the way to freedom. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me."
