IF YOU ONLY HAD 6 MONTHS TO LIVE… WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE TIME YOU HAD LEFT??
Its was 2012, and question seemed to come out of nowhere. It pressed deeply into my heart… and demanded an answer.
I didn’t have a diagnosis (other than autoimmune issues) nor did I feel the “six months” was a literal time frame. I simply believe it was a question posed by God, to lead me in the direction He had already planned for me to walk in.
As found in the theme of Ecclesiastes, I came to the realization early on that much of life was a “chasing of the wind.” I’ve come to understanding the only thing(s) we can “take with us” beyond this life are: our relationships with God and with others.
Having already accumulated my degrees, stayed home with my family much of the time and found my true freedom in Christ… there was only one deep desire left: I simply wanted to meet with a handful of people and walk life out with them over lunch or coffee during school hours so I could keep my family as priority.
I wanted to provide a safe space for deep connection. I had lived a lot of life that was redeemed by God’s immeasurable Grace and Mercy. I enjoyed speaking into other people’s lives, and wasn’t afraid to let them to speak into mine. I wanted a space with no stings attached: Just one heart to another pointing each other towards a deeper love and continued freedom in Christ.

Pastor Brad D Johnson was one of the biggest cheerleaders Heart to Heart Ministries ever had. He absolutely blessed us as he linked arms with us and poured his heart and soul into helping us meet people exactly where they were in life and bringing them closer to the heart of Jesus Christ.
Brad modeled the genuine love and mercy of Christ to every person he met. He was quick to share his tears with the hurting, and also known for letting loose in his boisterous contagious laugh.. which carried deep into the hearts of those who loved him.
Heart to Heart Ministries was honored to have Pastor Brad serve as a Board Member and Ministry Disciple up to his last moment here on earth. His sudden passing in 2021 came as a heart break to all, however his life’s motto of “Make Much of Jesus” carries on in heart and soul of our work.
Pastor Curt Coddington saw the potential that Heart to Heart Ministries could become. As a result, he stepped up to offer his vision, leadership, and wisdom as our ministry’s first Board President.
Though none of us could see it at the time (2018), he often said “Heart to Heart Ministries is much bigger than serving one church in one place.” However, his leadership made it a reality.
By the time he retired from his role as senior pastor and board president in 2022, Heart to Heart Ministries had collectively served over 500 people in person and online across 7 different states.
Curt modeled a true father’s and shepherd’s heart for many of those he taught and discipled, including myself. His passion to create a safe place for hurting people will always be carried forth in all that we do.
FROM THE CHURCH TO A MINISTRY CENTER…
By January of 2023, God had gifted Heart to Heart Ministries with a large enough Ministry team and outreach scope, that we took the leap of faith in moving into our own ministry center! Donations of furniture, decorations, labor, community service, and prayers poured in from the community and several neighboring states.
Since then, our ministry has expanded not only within the community, but also online into 45 of the 50 states!! We are privileged to have added several more highly trained Ministry Disciples to our team from across the nation. Each working in coordination with their own churches, communities and online.

…AND ACROSS THE POND!
In late 2024 we received a request for services from a beautiful soul in Germany. It became clear this was a God-ordained connection, and one He worked mightily in. As we worked through the pressing issue at hand, she became rooted in the true strength, hope and freedom that only Christ can give. In time, as her inner healing soaked into the core of her being, she was reminded of her love for ministry and reason for becoming a missionary in the first place. She inquired, as many do, about joining our team.
We were honored with her specific education, ministry training, background, as well as her new fire for the ministry we offer, to invite her to became our first International Ministry Disciple in early 2026!
SINCE IT BEGAN IN 2012, THE IMPACT OF HEART TO HEART HAS REACHED DEEP INTO THOUSANDS OF LIVES!

THOUGH HE MAY HAVE GIVEN ME THE FIRST STEP, GOD COMPLETELY TOOK OVER AND DID IT ALL.
I COULD NOT BE MORE HUMBLED OR MORE THANKFUL - HE SOOOOO GOOD!
(And… Yes, we all still enjoy a good lunch or coffee meeting from time to time)
