    • Occupational Therapist for 25 years in both medical and school settings

    • Structured Literacy Tutor for Students with Dyslexia

    • Educational Interventionist

    • Director of church-based community program for adults with disabilities

    • Mentor for women who were pregnant or with young children to provide parenting education, life skill training, and resource assistance

    • Discipleship & Prayer Ministry

  • Heart to Heart Ministries provides the foundation of structure and prayer support that allows me to meet with people both locally and across the country.  Heart to Heart understands each person is body, soul, & spirit, and that each of these areas can be injured creating struggles, wounds, and challenges in our lives.  Because of this, each person’s healing journey is unique.  This understanding gives people the freedom to explore their struggles, thoughts, and feelings more openly and safely.  It also allows people to experience more effective growth, healing, and wholeness.  Heart to Heart believes (and I have also found to be true) that there is a level of healing that can only occur through God’s intervention in our lives.

My Story

Life is messy, far messier than I ever imagined.  Even so, God is still good.  He’s in the business of working within the messes of our lives.  My life is not at all what I’d imagined it would be when I was young.  It has been marred by grief, loss, and pain.  Even so, I see God’s fingerprints throughout my life.  I have experienced His closeness on my darkest days, His deliverance in spiritual warfare, the power of His healing, and His transformation in my life.  I’ve also experienced His joy!

Despite the messiness of my own life, God has called me to come alongside others in their pain and struggles…. Not because I have it all together (I don’t), but because He desires that I be a safe person to whom others can share their struggles and heartaches and who can walk alongside them in their journey toward healing and greater wholeness.
